North continued it's ascendancy this year winning by six wickets. South, who won the toss batted well after early set-backs a partnership of 70 for the fifth wicket by Matias Paterlini and Ignatius Shimamoto digging them out of trouble. The North were in serious trouble at 5 for three wickets but 'Guille' Kirschbaum and Mike Morris added 82 for the fifth wicket followed by Martin Cortabarria with a well-struck 90 enabling the North to take first innings lead. In their second venture the South were indebted to Bernard Irigoyen and a series of wides, 41 in all making extras the highest total of the innings. Cortabarria did not keep wicket in this match astounded himself as well as everyone else by taking eight wickets for 95 runs. With 231 to win the North made light work of it losing only four wickets with Perez-Rivero making 94 in good style well supported by Mike Morris and Marin Cortabarria again.
