Suffolk won by nine wickets at 12.42pm on the second day, after Norfolk followed on 146 runs behind on first innings. For the winners, Ireland took 13 wickets in the match for 88 runs, including 7 for 46 in the Norfolk first innings and 6 wickets for 42 runs in the second. There were 12 fours in F T D Wilson's 74.
For the losers, there were 2 sixes and 9 fours in Fulcher's 76. In the Norfolk first innings Fulcher and Treglown put on 66 runs for the seventh wicket. Stevens kept wicket for Norfolk in Suffolk's second innings. The Eastern Daily Press stated that S G Bennett was on leave from Egypt and eligible to play for both counties.
