Cambridgeshire won by 75 runs at 4.40 pm on the second day after setting a victory target of 174 runs in 2 hours and 10 minutes.
There were rain interruptions on the second day. For the winners, there were 6 fours in Tebbutt's 61 and 4 fours in Reid's 58. Rose took 5 wickets for 43 runs in the Norfolk second innings. For the losers, Fulcher's 59 contained 6 fours. In the Norfolk first innings Fulcher and Gibson added 92 runs for the eighth wicket. Pigg ricked his back when bowling in the Norfolk first innings and did not bowl again in the match. C J H Treglown did not arrive until 3pm on the first day and G H Martin fielded as substitute.
