Drawn return match with Monmouthshire winning on first innings. The match between the two sides at Llanelly in June had been won by Monmouthshire. The Monmouthshire total of 479 runs was the highest of the season and lasted 325 minutes. For the home team, Silverlock carried his bat for 246 not out, which was the highest score by a batsman during the season, and his 246 runs was also the highest match run aggregate. The innings contained 26 fours, and was scored in 325 minutes. Diver and E S Phillips both scored 71 and Diver's innings contained 6 fours with E S Phillips scoring 7 fours. In the Monmouthshire innings Silverlock was involved in two century partnerships. He put on 141 runs with Diver for the second wicket and 136 with E S Phillips for the fourth. For Carmarthenshire, B P Rees top-scored with 85. In the Carmarthen first innings, Lewis and Hughes Morgan put on 67 runs for the last wicket. Howell strained his side while bowling in the afternoon on the first day and had to retire. He batted with a runner. Gee completed his over and Hews acted as the substitute fielder.
