This match was drawn with Monmouthshire winning on first innings. The Monmouthshire second innings declaration left Glamorgan 352 runs to win in just under 3½ hours, but at 4.30 pm heavy rain fell and stopped play. The match was abandoned as a draw at 5.30 pm when it was clear no further play would be possible. On the first day, rain had stopped play between 3.00 pm and 4.10 pm.
