The following letter was addressed to Chairman PCB on the conclusion of the Australia A Tour to Pakistan:

Dear Sir,
On behalf of Cricket Australia and, in particular, the management and players of the Australia A Cricket Team, may I thank you and your Board for the kindness and magnificent hospitality that you have extended to us throughout our 2005 tour of Pakistan.
It is the first visit by an Australian cricket team for many years and it has been both a privilege and pleasure for us all to be able to revisit your country and participate in such a competitive series. I am sure our cricket will benefit greatly from the experience gained by the players both on and off the field.
The 'spirit of cricket' has been clearly demonstrated by both teams in their behaviour and attitude and I am sure you will join me in congratulating all concerned in their recognition of this most important aspect of the game.
The tour arrangements and the security for the Australian team have been exemplary. Please convey our appreciation to both the Pakistan Cricket Board and the Pakistan Government for their diligence and professional management of all aspects of the tour.
We also extend our appreciation to Bob Woolmer and the Pakistan A players and staff for their support and friendship. Bob has responded to many requests in relation to training matters and professional support to our players. We wish the Pakistan team well in their upcoming series against England.
It has been a wonderful opportunity to visit your country and renew the contest between Australia and Pakistan on Pakistan soil. Let us hope that the relationship between Cricket Australia and the Pakistan Cricket Board has been strengthened by this tour and we can both look forward to many wonderful series between our countries.
Finally, may I wish you and the Pakistan Cricket Board success in all your endeavours for Pakistan and world cricket. I will always retain the fondest of memories from this tour and look forward to our next meeting with anticipation.
Yours sincerely,Trevor Robertson
Australia A Manager
