Church have confirmed that Luke Woodcock will return as their professional this coming season. The club have now received a signed contract back from the left handed all rounder.

A delighted Church captain Andy Bentley said: "He is having a great season back home and is currently the 2nd highest run scorer in New Zealand First-class cricket this season with 560 runs at 80.0 with a top score of 220 not out.
"Luke was very popular during his time at the club last year and is thoroughly looking forward to having a full season with us. Everyone at Church would like to wish him all the best, and we are looking forward to meeting up with him again in April."
Problems with the new visa problems caused Luke to miss the first two months of the 2009 season but after a tough baptism with two losing semi finals in his first three matches, he settled in and finished the season with 305 runs at 33.9 with three half centuries and 33 wickets at 14.1 from 14 matches.
