Player: | DJ Hickey |
Denis Hickey joined the Glamorgan staff in 1986 on a cricket scholarship from Australia. However, the young Victorian fast bowler became the county`s main overseas player for the majority of the season as Javed Miandad and Ezra Moseley both sustained injuries.

Given his limited experience, Hickey did a respectable job, although his only five wicket haul came against Oxford University at The Parks. After returning to Australia, he switched his allegiances to South Australia in 1990/91, and then won a place in the Australia `A` side to tour Zimbabwe in 1991. He continued to play Shield cricket until 1994/95.
